December 2013 mini-session
11:00 – 12:00

When Leonardo Da Vinci worked for Ludovico in Milan, and then when he had his own workshop, he was practically a party planner. He designed elaborate court festivals, made festival masks, designed sets and costumes for performances and more. In this study group, we’ll take an in-depth look at Leonardo’s years in Milan and create our own festival masques, musical instruments and sculptures.
Designed for children who can:
- work independently to create unique ar projects based on Leonardo’s
- listen and discuss the connections between art and history in a thoughtful and respectful manner
- follow directions
- work in a pair or a small group
Materials fee = approximately $6 per child to be paid directly to the instructor on the first day of the session
